The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007–2013 (alias INTERREG IV B programme for the Baltic Sea region) is a financing tool for co-operation in the Baltic Sea Region. It is one of the mainstream Structural Funds programmes under the European Community's territorial co-operation objective.

The Programme co-finances projects in fields of:

  • Priority 1: Fostering innovations
  • Priority 2: Internal and external accessibility
  • Priority 3: Baltic Sea as a common resource
  • Priority 4: Attractive & competitive cities and regions

Common results of supported projects:

  • Increased political recognition of projects results
  • Increased sustainability of transnational co-operative networks
  • Unlocked public /private investments

 

The European Union's Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007–2013 is closed. The follow-up Programme 2014-2020 has been launched.
