Without taking a holistic approach that includes prevention, prioritization and removal, achieving a toxic free environment will not be possible.

ZeroPM will interlink and synergize three strategies to protect the environment and human health from persistent, mobile substances: Prevent, Prioritize and Remove. ZeroPM focuses on safer alternatives for persistent, mobile substances, policy analysis, catalysing a market transition, big data approaches, risk assessment and remediation of water and sludge. The ZeroPM Alternatives Database, Regulatory Watch, PFAS tree in PubChem and PFAS guide are available tools. More information can be found on the project website, Youtube channel and LinkedIN.

There are over 60 researchers from 15 institutes located in 10 European countries who collaborate in ZeroPM. In addition, ZeroPM benefits from both an extended stakeholder group and an advisory board.
